Polarity Therapy

Polarity is a fourfold holistic healing system which incorporates bodywork, exercise, nutrition and facilitated communication. Through relating to life’s tensions and stories the practitioner facilitates the client’s inherent healing ability, allowing the body to process the energy of the current and past challenges as they have been stored in the body’s connective tissue, nervous system, and structure.

Craniosacral Unwinding

Craniosacral Unwinding is a non invasive clothed bodywork modality. By working with the energetic,

fluid, facial, and bone layers of the body, holding patterns receive permission to unwind. This sacred work allows the client to drop deep into their parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest mode),

there by receiving rest and nurturing while the body lets go of tensions.

integrated structural bodywork

Integrated Structural Bodywork intends to help the bones and muscles of the body work together. This modality releases deep patterns and support the body finding a new way of being, affecting the function through the structure. It is a synthesis of a wide variety of practitioner skills: osteopathic techniques, reflexology, myofascial release, and more.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage is designed to release deeper muscle tension by targeting connective tissue and fascia. It is specifically beneficial for chronically tense areas such as neck, shoulders and low back. A variety of techniques are used to slowly sink through the layers of muscle, targeting release of specific tensions, scar tissue and adhesions.

Recent Work

In such an intense routine I really DESERVE THIS! 😊 Thanks to Gilad Shoham, the excellent masseuse Gilad Shoham! Highly recommend this wonderful therapist! I recommend him to all the athletes among us who have an intense training routine – Massage for athletes! 💪- In my research on athlete massages, I realized that i’s completely different from a spa massage! There is work on the depth of the muscle. The deep massage gives flexibility, lengthens the muscle fibers and thus affects the flexibility of the tissues. The massage improves blood circulation and thus improves performance, in addition there is a decrease in the level of muscle pain and the exerciser is allowed to reach his full potential in training. And another equally important thing – – peace and quiet ! – Many athletes are types who find it difficult to find a moment of true peace and quiet. When the athlete does not find time to relax, he is always in a state of stress which affects his abilities and performance. A regular massage as part of the training program allows athletes time to relax and de-stress! In the picture I am in complete euphoria after treatment with Gilad! 😎😄

I don’t normally do this sort of thing but if any of you need massage work done or if your back is messed up or bothering you, I recommend Gilad Shoham and Aubrey Shoham. They are the best at what they do. While I realize that it is hard to know the difference between a good practitioner or an average one, for what it’s worth, when my back feels like it’s about to lock up, I call Gilad.

Gilad was my massage therapist for about 8 years. Probably the best massage therapist I've ever had. What I love about him is not only his loving demeanor and kindness but also his incredible skill and versatility. He knows so many different techniques of body work, that he can always find the one that's a good fit for you. I miss him, and wish he still lived in Arizona.
